Custom Heirloom Solar Powered Tiny Home

Many of the tiny home manufacturers in the expanding tiny house market offer cookie cutter homes that are built and sold as is or offered in kits – an ideal option for those not looking to tackle their own tiny home building project. There’s nothing wrong with these homes; most of them we see are beautiful, functional works of art.

With a focus on creating heirloom homes that will last from generation to generation, Tiny Heirloom out of Portland, Oregon has a little bit different approach: to design and create handcrafted tiny homes customized to the specifications of each client they work with. This tiny house on wheels is a stunning example of their work.

Everything one would need for comfortable living is creatively placed into this little luxury home: a full kitchen with plenty of countertop space and storage, stove and oven, and refrigerator;  a sleeping loft;  bathroom with a shower, sink, and composting toilet;  a separate room with seating and a little closet with a washing machine;  and gorgeous little decorative details and shelving options that fit the decor and functionality of the home.

My favorite thing about this home is all the windows in the roof and the walls. The abundance of natural light in combination with the all white interior creates a space that is very bright, open, and fresh. The little seating area next to the kitchen countertop looks out a window larger than what we normally see in little homes – the ideal place for enjoying a morning coffee.

Tiny Heirloom customizes everything from the size of the kitchen and bathroom to the color of the paint and pitch of the roof, all depending on the needs and desires of each individual buyer.

Each of Tiny Heirloom’s tiny homes come equipped with plugins for on grid water and power, but off grid capabilities can be added if desired. The home pictured was finished with solar panels on the roof and battery banks for off grid living.

…Heirloom concentrates on equipping each custom build with high quality materials and fixtures, to meet even the most high-end standard of luxury. Most importantly, our products do not compromise on other essentials such as energy efficiency and low monthly expenses. Although it may be downsizing, you won’t have to compromise on many of your lifestyles or necessities due to our customization process. Tiny Heirloom truly accommodates to any lifestyle. With your imagination and our expertise, you can make home anywhere you park it.
